Statement
Photography Project / BoW:
During a 2022 visit to several industrial fisheries in Cape May, NJ, I was fascinated by the variety of metal links used on the fishing boats for all sorts of purposes. Most were heavily rusted and showed signs of intense wear, yet they remained perfectly functional. I found beauty and elegance in these old, solid pieces—their varied shapes and rich tones of rust evoked a sense of timelessness. I couldn’t help but feel both curiosity and admiration for the creativity and skill of the blacksmiths and steelworkers who likely crafted these links by hand.
Print Information
All my photographs are available as prints in various sizes and framing options. I personally handle the printing process, using archival-quality inks and papers to ensure longevity and vibrancy. For framed prints, I also use archival mats to preserve the artwork.
